In Festa Forest, actual Takayama festival floats, miniatures of floats and big drums are exhibited in the subterranean geodesic dome. In Nature Forest, specimens of butterflies not only from Japan but also from all over the world are on display. The exhibit includes Gifu Butterfly (Luehdorfia japonica) as well as many other rare specimens.
